Episode 140 of Samadhi Rush is a 15 minute savasana with sound bath. It makes for a super soothe session. If you are feeling depleted or like you need a nap, but don't have tons of time, try this. It is especially powerful with headphones (so you could close your office door and do this practice over your lunch-break at work).

The nectar of this story is that no matter what happens to us, no matter how circumstances change, we can choose how to feel and how to act. We can be a princess no matter what. (Princess in this book means more about kindness, generosity and ease than any of the cultural references we might currently associate with being a princess.)

Namaste, yogis. Rest is an important component of our overall health. Like the breath, our sleep can be both an indicator of and a product of our present mental state. By that I mean that on one hand, an agitated mind can cause fitful sleep, and on the other hand, a night without rest can lead to agitation in the mind and body. The sequence of postures featured in this podcast invite calm, to assist in creating an environment that encourages restful sleep. You may wish to incorporate the whole sequence into your evening routine, or just a few of the poses that most assist you in transitioning from wakefulness to sleep.
